i didnt know what i wanted to do at first, but got some inspiration on twitter when i saw somthing like it. i took the idea and made it my own. i didnt run into any real problems, it was alittle tedious doing the clone stamp over and over until i got it perfect. i dont think i would do anything different
We were confused about how we would combine the two images but when we saw the way the Penca (penguin and orca) was looking, we decided to make the connection that the Penca was just looking at the Elephly ( Elephant and Butterfly).
This was technically the first project we worked on. i started with the idea of having lunch with myself and had to do that in the cafeteria. i sat in every seat that was in the frame of the camera. as i was taking the pictures, i realized that i had to make sure i didn't cover myself up in the background. when i started making the final picture on photoshop, i didn't really run into any problems. i only had a little trouble making sure all of my crop outs were perfect. if i were to do this project again i would probably used a wider area so i wouldn't cover myself up. i really tried to make the people cut out right and i feel like i did a pretty good job for my first non tutorial project
I have done this project before in art 1, so doing again was pretty easy. We used the liquify tool to open up the pancakes mouth. after that we cut out the teeth from its image and put it in the pancakes. it was pretty easy to do since it was my second time doing it.
I haven't done the apples before so i was interested on how to make it reflect. the process was pretty simple but for some reason my photoshop didn't play by the rules so i had to get help to find other ways of doing the same thing. i didn't have a grey shader so i had to create my own. other than that there werent any real problems.
This was by for my favorite project so far. i had done this one as well, and really liked how it turned out. this was actually the project in art1 that made me want to take this class. We used the clone stamp tool to make the tongue texture go onto the frog. I of course wanted to add alittle spice to it so i used the burn tool to make it dark like a spotted frog. it turned out pretty well (cough cough, i think one of the best ones in the class ;) )
